I have known Chris Burlini for most of my life. He and I grew up together outside Chicago and now both reside in South Florida. I have been an avid collector of Chris's art for the past 35+ years and have amassed probably the largest collection of his work. I have cherished his work and it has been the largest part of my collection. It is time to let some of these pieces go to others so they too can cherish what this incredible and talented artist has created. I am aware of multiple paintings he has sold for more than $25,000 each without the help of managers or galleries. His work has an incredible potential to be valuable if only seen by the right individuals. I hope all the Burlini pieces I list can go to a person or couple that will cherish it like I have for all these years. Thank you! A visionary artist, Burlini is attracted to things that explore human emotions: the struggle and triumph of moments of chaos and control. His work is an amalgamation of the classical and pop-modern styles. Asked for his view on art today, Burlini excitedly answers,β inspiring! There is a real movement going on out there, no different than the impressionist and surrealist movements of the past. Some call the movement βpop pluralism,β or "cartoon realism.' Whatever the name is, no one can argue the factsβthese artists are wide-spread and theyβre feeding and energizing one another. Has art emerged from another βdark age?β I believe it has, with a group of visionaries about to change the world of art.β Burliniβs introduction to art came through the eyes of his father and grandfather, sculptors in the Chicago area. Their work ranged from psychedelic circus machines to balanced kinetic pieces to abstract bronze figures. Growing up around art fairs was a carnival of color and composition for the young artist. Receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Illinois Institute of Art, Burlini continued his education in Italy at the Florence Academy of Art where he learned the importance of rudimentary drawing, outline proportion, shadowing, and the important concept of systematic progression. Although never intending to work as realist, he integrates time-tested methods of realism in his work.In San Francisco, he painted large murals for the eccentric Squished Eyeball Magic Theater. Captivated by the theater, Burlini spent more than a year creating special effects and illusions for the show until the curtains came to a final close. The theater influence plays a crucial role in one of his series, βCircus and Sound.βNow in South Florida, Burlini draws from years of experience in pursuit of the arts. He opened one of the most unique and prestigious art studio -Burlini Studio of the Arts in Boca Raton since 2010. Please check all my other listings. I have many treasures listing including Comic Books, Music Memorabilia, Horse Racing Memorabilia, Fine Art, Glass and Ceramic Pieces and much more. All proceeds goes to pay for food and shelter for my little White Bunny and his BunDad. Thank you!WhiteBun1111
