Description: This listing is for a porcelain mug with the logo of Choate Rosemary Hall, a private boarding school in the U.S. On the back are the letters ABOPS which stands for Association of Business Officers of Preparatory Schools. ABOPS is still active. This group, comprised of employees of private schools throughout the U.S., meets yearly at a host school to discuss issues of mutual interest. I’m not sure, but perhaps the member schools bring mugs for giveaways at the conference. I have another school’s mug in a separate listing. This mug is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. It’s clean on the inside and shows only minor signs of use. It’s about 3.75” high- see photos.
