In Baba Malay, the word chupu refers to this form and it comes in various sizes, designs and colours. The chupu also had a specific use in Peranakan wedding. It was used as a 'tiam sim' or serving vessel for special tonics the bride would serve to her new husband. Condition FAIR— POT - (1CM) x shallow chip inside the rim.
