Description: Item : This vibrant original oil painting on canvas was done by Laguna Beach, California artist Charles J. Beauvais. The painting shows several fishing boats docked at a pier. It measures 23" by 29" with frame, the canvas measures 18" by 24". It is signed in the lower left. The colors are very vibrant and the painting has been done in high relief, with bold thick paint applied with a palate knife. There is crackling at the top of the painting. Overall, this painting is nicely framed and in good condition. Charles J. Beauvais (1917-1976) was a long-time resident of Laguna Beach. He lived most of his life in Southern California.
