Description: This little tortoise was carved with a chainsaw and powertools from a scotch pine log. It has been stained with a cedar color and sealed with a flat oil based spar urethane. The dimensions are roughly: 12" tall, 8" wide, and 8" thick. As can be seen in the photos the carving does have some cracks in it. This is normal. Cracking is a natural and common occurrence in wood carvings. More cracking as the carving ages is possible.
