Description: This cardinal was carved from a half log of scotch pine using a chainsaw and powertools. It has been sealed with spar urethane giving it a glossy protective finish. It can be kept indoors or outdoors. If kept outdoors it is best to keep it out of direct sunlight as the excessive heat and harsh uv lights are very hard on wood carvings. The dimensions are roughly: 10.5" tall, 10.5" wide, and 4" thick. As this carving ages a bit of cracking is possible. Cracking is a common occurrence in wood carvings. It's just the nature of wood.
