Description: There are flat areas on the top edge of both the obverse and reverse. It looks at first as if these could have been made after issue by being hit. Upon close examination I am sure that they were due to a thin planchet in that area. The edge in that area is higher than the flat area. When the coin was struck the collar which forms the reeding on the edge pushed the edge up a little (See photos). I am a collector cleaning out my collection and not a dealer. I am starting to list my excess coins from Canada. I have a few hundred to do, so it will take a few weeks. I have included my estimate of the condition of the coin. I am not an expert, so examine the photos carefully.
