Description: Issued by the Canada on October 20, 2017, this souvenir sheet of two stamps commemorates the "History of Hockey." Hockey grew in popularity in the late 19th century. The National Hockey Association was launched in 1910; this evolved into the National Hockey League (NHL) in 1917. The two stamps feature a contemporary hockey player and, formated to appear as a reflection, this player's grandfather playing on the same frozen pond a century earlier. In the sheet selvage, a father is seen teaching his daughter the sport. VF/XF, Mint never hinged (MNH) sheet. No Faults. The actual size of this sheet is 95 x 130 mm.
