Description: Cambridge Caprice Lookalike Three Part 7" Bowl Please be sure to check our other auctions since we presently have, or soon will have, a number of Cambridge Caprice items up for auction. Cambridge Glass Co. produced high-quality elegant glass tableware for over 50 years. Cambridge Glass Company was founded in 1901 in Cambridge, Ohio. The company closed in 1954, reopened briefly, and closed again in 1958. The Caprice pattern, Cambridge line #3550, is one of the best known and widely collected of all the lines produced by the Cambridge Glass Company during its many years in business. The Caprice line was first introduced early in 1936 and included approximately 250 different pieces during the entire period of production through 1958. This auction is for one (1) Cambridge Caprice Lookalike Three Part 7" Bowl. This bowl, which is 1-3/4” tall and 6-3/4” in diameter, is in very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks, cloudiness or fleabites. It has some minor roughness on the outer rim which does not effect use or display. A very knowledgeable eBayer advised me that this is not Cambridge glass. If anyone recognizes this bowl, please let me know. (15941)
