The largest platter has a small chip on the side about 3/16 of an inch which is very small and in my opinion is very unoticable. There are some imperfections on some of the pieces due to the firing process of the glaze but again, in my opinion are hardly noticeable and most are on the bottom of the pieces. There are glaze fisures on the pieces from the firing process and are not cracks. This is a extremely rare set to have this many pieces being sold at one time on eBay. There may be slight variances of the color on the pieces also due to the firing process. Hopefully the photos will show them. This is a truly a unique set to own and I believe they are antiques but definitely vintage. You will have to do your own research to find more information on this set. This set is heavy and will be packaged with lots of bubble wrap and suspended with packing paper to ensure safe shipping. The shipping will not be cheap. I do not accept returns on this set.
