Call of Cthulhu, Terror From The Stars, Chaosium #2313 1st Print 1986 VG/GOOD

Description: Terror from the Stars Vintage Classic book of two unconnected scenarios for the Call of Cthulhu RPG Chaosium #2313 First Edition, First Print 1986 by Scott Aniolowski and Mike Szymanski We picked up this copy from one of the authors - The Great Mike Szymanski, a few years ago when he was unloading a large portion of his collection. We've actually got some stuff signed by him, but not this copy unfortunately. Overall it is in Very Good to Good Condition. The only real flaw is some moderate cover scuffing. Otherwise the book is Excellent. Tight cover and pages, the interior is bright, clean and free of marks. One note, the removable "field manual" in the center of the book has simulated PRINTED underlining and margin notes, meant to make it look authentic. Please see photos. Here is a portion of a review from RPG.NET: "You need some real Indy-types to make this work...The first scenario is "The Pits of Bendal-Dolum." This involves a lengthy journey, high SAN losses, and a trip to TheDreamlands. It is also heavily railroaded. I actually played an Investigator in this scenario a long time ago, and I didn'tnotice at the time how linear it was, which is probably a good sign. In a way, it's a travelogue, and it can be the kick-offscenario for a larger campaign. If the Keeper is willing to invest some time in his descriptions of the strange and eerielocations, it could be well worthwhile.The other scenario is "The Temple of the Moon," which is a lot more complicated and confusing than "Bendal-Dolum."When a friend (yes, one of those friends) sends an Investigator a parcel with a mysterious artifact in it, it's off to Peruin search of knowledge and treasure. Complicating things along the way are Indian cultists, art smugglers, and a missingprofessor. This investigation has a very Indiana Jones feel to it... The whole thing ends in a fight to the finish which couldconceivably end with all the investigators being massacred. But such is Call of Cthulhu."
