Description: Up for bid is a vintage cabinet photo that is identified on the back as "F. Splittorff and wife." The couple may have been related to Paul Splittorff, the former major-league baseball pitcher who enjoyed much success with the Kansas City Royals. Paul was born in Evansville in 1946, but the family moved away when he was a baby. He passed away in May 2011. This photo isin very good condition. The image measures 4 by 5 1/2 inches; the cardboard mat is 5 1/8 by 7. See my listings for other vintage items, including more photos.
