Description: I got this for Christmas in 1960. It worked the last time I set it up. Even the light on the engine. I swear I’ve been to eight different websites trying to figure out whether to call this O or S scale or whatever. The cars are all about 9 inches long but it runs on a three rail electric track. there are 18 sections of curved track and four sections of straight track which are each about 10 inches long and includes the transformer connection. there is a crisscross tract section and lots of extra track connector rods. According to all the websites I read about the track gauge, this is approximately 1 7/8th inches. The analog transformer will let you adjust the speed with the lever. I did not set it all up to test to see if it still works, so don’t say I claimed it still runs. Being made back in the 1950s, though, I bet it still does. I will list two alternative cabooses and some same scale train depot buildings. Please make a reasonable offer or use buy it now. Thank you for shopping with us. —train set—
