c1950's? Space Age VINTAGE BROOCH Cultured Pearl Unmarked Nice

I buy them to help move product and bring them to the internet as a fun hobby for me, This item was in their high end boutique case. I cannot sell for less than my cost plus anticipated ebay fees and mailing costs, I am not a gemologist or jewelry expert, I do not have the tools to test jewelry items nor do I know how to use those tools if I had them. I select jewelry that looks quality made, looks and feels like the real thing.., and sometimes it is. Sometimes I don't see the hallmark until I get home and clean it or use a better magnifying glass. I am sometimes amazed at how small hallmarks can be stamped and often in hard to see discrete places. (like on the stem,,, amazing). Some "real" old pieces were not hallmarked, Some costume jewelry is quality made and beautiful AND COLLECTIBLE. This Brooch:Swirl shaped pin reminiscent of the era that was fascinated with " Space Age design c 1950's "I can find no hallmark but looks like gold and has a darker gold mesh embellishment that adds texture, I can find no damage or wear on the metal (that would be a clue to being "plated" with a base metal, )The Pearl is prong set and tested cultured with the "tooth test", Does not look like a man made pearl (glass or plastic), brooch is about 1 1/2" in diameter Nice safety clasp Makes a great stocking stuffer.
