Description: This antique quilt in the log cabin pattern is just beautiful. It has a combination of early silks and calicos ranging from deep hunter green, to turkey red, to cream. It front is intricately pieced with very narrow strips of fabric. This quilt is hand tied to a striking pink backing. The quilt was hung at one point and has newer green tabs which could be removed. The quilt measures 58x74". This quilt has striking winter tones and shows some loss to the old cream strips throughout (see photos). The backing shows older signs of color bleeding. Overall, this is a beautiful quilt with great colors! Please see photos for overall condition. All of my quilts are antique or vintage (75-150 years old).
