c1890 Silver Chatelaine / Finger Chain With Scent Bottle, Mirror & Pencil Holder

Description: c1890 American hallmarked silver chatelaine / finger ring scent bottle, mirror and pencil holder. The perfume bottle is hallmarked Sterling with a makers mark of W Co with an arrow indicating Webster Company MA. It is also monogrammed with what looks like GHC. It is in a good, used condition and there are no creases or dents. The lid screws on easily. The Art Nouveau hand mirror is hallmarked sterling and has a cherub design on the back & a twisted silver handle. The mirror glass is bevelled and has a lot of foxing. The pencil holder is incomplete and, although there’s no hallmark, it has tested positive for silver. There is floral engraving on both sides. This is a lovely little chatelaine which would appeal to perfume bottle collectors, chatelaine collectors or silver collectors.
