c. 1930's J. Chein Tin Litho Waddling White Duck w/ Red Coat Windup

Description: Offered for sale is this wonderful example of the waddling duck lithographed tin windup toy, manufactured sometime in the 1930's by J. Chein & Co. This is the white duck with red jacket version and it e measures about 4" tall x 2 1/4" wide, and is in pristine condition. The windup mechanism works as it should: give the key a couple of winds and the little duck waddles and shuffles forward on his webbed feet. The lithographed finish is still bright and shiny, there is scant play wear, and there are no dents, splits, or other damage. Please check the photos carefully (we recommend using the magnifying function) as they do a better job than we can of describing the piece.
