It is from County Atlas of California, drawn and published for the Fireman's Fund Insurance Co. of San Francisco, California, dated circa 1894. A copy of the title page is included with the copyright and publisher details, no date, but it is probably from the first edition in 1894, based on comparison with other editions, this is one of the ealiest editions. The Reverse side has "Fireman's Fund INS. CO" along with a short witty reason to buy their insurance. The map is not mounted, matted nor framed, being sold as a single loose map as seen in the main pic. Overall, a nice miniature size map that would be very economical to frame. It is a fairly rare California map showing Stagecoach routes and stopsSize: The map image measures, between the neat lines, approximately 4 1/4 by 5 3/4 inches (11x14cm) and is on a 5 by 6 3/4" (13x17cm) page as seen in the pic with a margin all around for framing as seen in the main pic.Condition: The map is in Good condition printed on a stiff buffed page with light tonel aging and a light stain on the left side, see the pics.
