Description: Selling my circa 1860's Antique Victorian English Day & Night Telescope, handed-down to me from my grandfather. Sold as-is. For decades, the telescope sat in my grandfather's attic, then in my attic and now it's time to get rid of a few things. This is an earlier brass four-draw telescope with small wood holder. The brass sections fold into a very small package for transport at the time. I can try to answer questions as they come, but I have limited knowledge, other than this being a great artifact from sometime after the Crimean War period, but during the Second Anglo-Afghan War. My family originates from Britian, hence the Victorian era references.
