It's very likely the housing will need to be glued together after opening. DO NOT USE SUPER GLUE! Super glue will not work well and cannot be removed. It also can create white fumes that coat metal surfaces (and prevent switches from working). I only recommend glues like Goop, Shoe Goo, E6000 (all basically the same). These are strong, stick well to plastic but also remain flexible and removable. A small dot in about 6 areas around the housing should be enough. Test your remote before gluing You can use rubber bands to hold the remote together while the glue dries
