This platter has the 1930's Burleigh Ware backstamp which was done for Burgess Dorling and Leigh in Burslem, England. The pattern is Sandon and looks like a poppy flower pattern. The serving platter has a stunning flow blue color accented with gold highlights. The Burleigh Ware serving platter measures 13" long x 9" in diameter. There is a some gold wear from aging over the years. I see no chips, cracks or crazing. It is a very clean.
