Description: This instrument has been lovingly taken care of and just came back from the shop (see receipt) polished and ready to play for any musical event. If you are new to the bass clarinet like I was, the Buffet Prestige Greenline is the best brand to transition to b/c it feels more like a Bb clarinet. Greenline is also more durable and less likely to crack b/c of the 95% grenadilla wood and 5% polycarbonate fiber composition. My teacher from the Cincinnati Symphony played on this instrument and was complimentary of it all around. In addition to the instrument and case, I'm including a laundered swab, Bonade ligature, Clark Fobes Nova mouthpiece (cleaned and sanitized), practically new Konig Meyer stand, and two reed cases, all just 4 years old. I'm sorry to give up this beauty, but my 50-something back just can't carry it around anymore. Even for an intermediate player though, you can hear the rich tone and ease of the key-work that only a Buffet can produce.
