BSA, Triumph 1971-72, OIF, T120, A65, B25, B50, OEM Front Brake Cable Guide

Description: Triumph and BSA during their fatal final years managed to add this retainer to the front fender of their Oil In Frame (OIF) models. According to period parts manuals, fenders fitted to BSA and Triumph OIF 650 twins had this front brake cable retainer. They likely ran out of these little folkers. They then began plugging the fender hole with a rubber plug. The BSA B50 and B25 also used this cable retainer. Listed as part number 82-8245 "star lock washer" and 97-2270 "retainer brake cable". Check out the parts schematic included in this listing. Email with your year, make and model of motorcycle if you are unsure of fitment. If you have a hole on the right-hand side of your front fender, plugged or unplugged, guess what the hole is for? These are UK manufactured, the brake retainer and star lock washer are both included. PLEASE NOTE: The bracket stub screws into the star washer on the inside of the front fender. Removing the front fender will make the installation much easier.
