Description: Bronze "Itching Post" sculptor Dr. Jon Ruehle (1949-2020). This is a prime example of the wildlife and western animal sculpture. The Bronze captures a wild boar scratching/rubbing against a tree trunk. The detail of the work is excellent nd captures a live moment. It is signed and dates 1979 measuring 5.5" x 7.5" sitting on a round wooden mount. There is a mark of 7/50, signed and dated 1975. This is an early mark, appealing to a collector. Ron Ruehle was a Ph.D. Biology instructor at the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Science and Arts. The condition is in prime unused condition.
