Description: An interesting pair of mint never hinged 50 cents SPECIMEN stamps from British Honduras. This pair features Queen Victoria, with a black overprinted 'SPECIMEN' and a hand stamped 'ULTRAMAR' in blue. Mint, never hinged. The grade is fine. It was difficult to pinpoint information on these stamps, and what I found varied wildly, as did their apparent value. The information in this listing is from that research. I'm happy to be corrected. Date of issue possibly between 1891 and 1901. The 'ULTRAMAR' overprint was for Portuguese colony usage.
