Description: The 'Bright Ideas Books' provide a wealth of resources for busy teachers. Practical activities for children aged five to eleven, clearly explained and illustrated, are attractively presented in a page- by- page format. There are sections which may be photocopied in every book. The series draws on ideas published over the years by Scholastic Magazines. Each topic in this book is designed for use in the ordinary classroom, with very little, if any, use of specialized equipment . Although the topics are of different lengths, each one contains a range of ideas and activities for children of the primary age range. A guide is given to the appropriate age for the activity in question, but age need not necessarily determine the level of activity in which the children become involved. Experience of scientific and investigative activity is the most important consideration. A pre-owned paperback book which has had the cover laminated for extra protection. The book is in a good condition with clear, clean pages with no tears or markings, however the pages do have some slight yellowing.
