At the left a vignette of a woman in a patriotic dress of stars & stripes with a 2c bank revenue stamp over part of her image. A scarce Civil War era check. Fine condition, cut cancelled in two places as was common practice back then, trimmed a little close on the left side. There are multiple endorsements on the back side.
