Description: Description Vintage Cast Iron Bookends Authors Bryant & Emerson Literary Bookends Unmarked B&H Bradley & Hubbard This listing is for a nice pair of estate found cast iron bookends featuring William Cullen Bryant and Ralph Waldo Emerson authors of classic American literature. Although they are unmarked, they were manufactured during the first quarter of the 20th century of cast iron by Bradley & Hubbard. The felt on the bases shows wear.(please see all scans) The bookends are in nice original condition with some light scuffs & scratches consistent with age and use. The original gilt finish remains in good condition.(please see all scans) Measurements: 6 inches tall x 4 7/8 inches wide x 2 5/8 inches deep. Acquired from a local estate. Thanks for looking. 7 lbs.
