Description: Very good copy of the first American Edition of Boy by Roald Dahl, Farrar Strauss Giroux 1984. This is an autobiography of Dahl of his schoolboy days in England and Wales. This copy is in VG condition, with minor fading at the top of the dust jacket and fading to the spine. There is some moderate fading to the spine cloth and gilt lettering on the book itself. Jacket is price clipped. Illustrated with family photos. This is a well bound, clean, tight copy. No writing or other damage. Price reflects the aforementioned flaws. This was written for children, but it includes several very graphic episodes of corporal punishment in school which might be too intense for some children.
