Description: Brand new aluminum trim kit for the long wheel base airhead seats. This trim kit is for the type of seat seen in the second to last photo. Includes one 43" piece and two 11" pieces of aluminum, along with 20 sets of stainless steel hardware which slide in the channel at the back of the aluminum. If you are not sure if this will fit your seat, just measure it. New, clean aluminum will polish up as much as you like, the stainless hardware will never rust, and the flat heads will not pull out easily like other tapered countersunk heads. Last photo is of a /7 seat that came from the factory with black plastic trim. This aluminum kit is a little long for this seat, and will need to be cut (easily done with shears)-- this results in the more vintage flair of earlier seats for the /7. Also note, the stainless bolts are longer than they appear to need being. This is so the aluminum can be tightened in stages. I cut off the excess bolt ends with a mini bolt cutter, Dremel tool, or heavy duty wire cutter.
