Blue White BYRD ? Pottery Stoneware Tyler Texas

Description: Selling this stoneware / pottery pitcher with SPONGEWARE decoration around the top 1/3 section. The design looks like a BYRD Pottery piece made in Tyler TX, but I cannot guarantee it. I will let you experts decide whether it is Byrd Pottery or not. Measures approx. 6-5/8" high x 4-1/2" dia. at the bottom. CONDITION: I consider this piece to be mint "as made" condition. There is a glaze pop approx. 1/8" wide, a slight bump in the clay on the rim right above the glaze pop, and a slight bump in the clay at the bottom raised rim - all done during the manufacturing process. That's it!!! NO CHIPS, CRACKS, HAIRLINE CRACKS, OR REPAIRS. It has the usual manufacturing characteristics found on OLD salt glaze stoneware (i.e., pits, pops, glaze skips, rubs, runs, bubbles, glaze separations, staining, crazing, and wrinkles & lines in glaze).
