Plant Background Information:Clerodendrum thomsoniae, commonly known as Bleeding Heart Vine or Glory Bower, is a flowering evergreen plant originating from tropical West Africa. These plants are very hardy and easy to care for, making them an ideal low maintenance houseplant. They grow at a medium-fast rate, branch out at the nodes, and multiply beneath the soil. Bleeding Heart Vine typically blooms in the late-spring or summer, and grow in dazzling chains of flowers with brilliant white outer petals and bright crimson red inner petals. Plant Care Information:Bleeding Heart Vine grows best in loamy or sandy well-drained soil. Water moderately and keep in partial sunlight, such as by a window. In order to encourage new growth and blooming, it is recommended that you remove dead leaves and prune your plants when the vines grow more than a few feet long.
