Description: This is a Black Jesus Crucifix Corpus Spanish Colonial Cristo Negro Santos Hand Carved Wood both cross and black Jesus. Jesus has hand painted loincloth and blood. There are tiny nails that connect the Jesus sculpture to the cross at hands and feet. This is a tabletop display. It is not signed and the artist and origin are unknown but through my research and according to the elderly lady I purchased it from it is a South American sculpture.
