Description: Binks Model 2001 HVLP spray gun with Binks EZ2 Solvent Saver Siphon Cup. I remember back in the 1980's when the Binks 2001 line and the Model 7 were the go to guns for almost all air spray applications. I used to sell many of both models. This 2001 HVLP gun is extremely rare now. Specially in such nice condition. The gun is set up for pressure assist siphon. The air plug is screwed into the yoke of the cup so if you want to go straight siphon just remove the check valve and tube and put the plug back into the air hole. Honestly, I sprayed this gun both ways and I think it does better in air assisted siphon. The gun has the 92F (1.2mm) fluid nozzle and the 95AP high performance HVLP Air Cap. This gun is in very nice condition and was tested spraying paint thinner at 45psi inlet pressure. Please see the pics to see how nice this unit is. The original owners manual will ship with this item. Also included will be a 1.4mm fluid nozzle and fluid needle for this gun.
