Mail order version had a Hologram of the drivers car, However the # 2 first Richard Petty some came with a Bill Elliott car Hologram before getting corrected to having King Richards car. I dont remember if this caused a shorter run or not, I do remember seeing some of these at comic store, collector shops for some pretty big bucks back then. It sure would help my retirement if they still brought big money. The holograms should be a nice collectable in that they distributed as a prepaid subscriptions through Vortex. I don't remember getting any special considerations as a bonafied dealer, I did do some mail order sets, soon to be listed as i locate vintage stored stock in the dark without light and not being read, any or played with. Even the what should be mint pristine in plastic covers still not mint perfect from the factory, guess due to cheaper paper, staples and dull cutting implements. Until I list the as nice as they come mail order sets that been saving for decades. Until then, here is one of my trade, purchased from way back then this is the #1 issue, this is not part of mail order subscription that was graced with a shiny hologram. however still a new condition vintage comic book. Pages probably some yellower than when first issued, but no staining or coffee spills and such.
