Typically was used with none pedal steel guitar, but with electric guitars as well, in traditional country music of the 50'S I:E: Speedy West, etc. Know for, among other effects getting the Boo Whaa sound often used during solos. This is a functioning pedal that was in use till my retirement. Original bottom Bakelite/ plastic cover has cracks that were repaired and reinforced. I waited for over ten years till I found this one, having this pedal under your foot somehow make things better!
