Description: Brand: Biddle / MeggerCatalog model #: 235303Model: Tool and Appliance Tester I am an equipment reseller. This is from a very large client we sell some of their excess equipment. They implied it worked when last used. Powered on and lower left "Tester Grounded" light comes on (photo #1). Turn middle knob to first setting "Ground Check" and the little light that says "Good when lit" will blink on and off slowly (photo 2: light off, photo 3" light on). I rotated knob to "Leakage" and the first needle move up a little then back down but nothing major. I assume because it has nothing connected to the leads. I rotated knob to "Insulation Withstand" and the "Failure" light comes on and makes a lot sound so you are aware of the failure (photo #4). I rotate knob to "Functional" and it does nothing, I assume again because its leads are not connected to anything. Comes with wires shown in last photo. Case is sturdy and works well. The one rubber foot is missing as seen in a photo. Unsure the details of how it works. Hopefully you can determine if this is working based on what I see it do at each knob setting.
