Details: Winchester model 70 Short action (Post 1964) rifle stock made by Bell & Carlson for Winchester for one of Winchester rifles with a bull barrel Made by Bell & Carlson exclusively for the Winchester. This is an OEM Factory Winchester stock. Barrel channel is cut for a Coyote profile "Light varmint barrel" Short Action calibers only (Will measure 7 1/8" measured center to center of bottom screwholes) Inletted for a 1 piece floorplate, so if you have a 2 piece floorplate you'll have to buy our adapter for an extra $12 Post 1964 (Serial # will be 700,000 or higher) Color is Black This is a fiberglass stock with an aluminum bedding block. This is a high $$$ stock. Factory Winchester Stock Stock is new, but might have some light cosmetic wear just from being in storage. I would rate a 9.5+ out of 10 on condition. Will this fit my rifle? Read this very carefully Stock is for a Winchester Model 70 SHORT ACTION with a light bull barrel barrel and made after the year of 1964. This stock will only fit Short Actions made after 1964 (Your serial number # will have to be 700,000 or higher) For SHORT ACTION calibers only (some caliber examples are .223 Remington, .308 Winchester, .243 Winchester etc....) VERY IMPORTANT READ FULLY (Short action calibers will measure 7 1/8" measured center to center of bottom screwholes) Be sure to measure and don't guess or assume it will fit. Measure to be 100% sure you have a short action.
