Using this tool, you will be able to accurately repair stripped threads in your garage. The tool consists of 2 components: 1) Drill and Tap Guide 2) Clamp Bar. The Drill and Tap Guide has hardened drill bushings that will ensure the drill bit and tap remain perpendicular to the head deck. This tool is for repairing BBC 7/16"-14 head bolt threads with Heli-Coil inserts (PN 5521-7). The Heli-Coil thread repair kit and 29/64" drill bit are not included. Tools for other applications or thread repair methods may be able to be produced upon request.
