Description: This is a beautiful 1998 Barbie made by Mattel in China. She is missing her original clothing. She is a Twist 'n Turn Barbie with lifelike bendable knees. Her most unique feature is her adjustable long blonde hair that is controlled by three pull strings that run through her head and out her upper back. Both ends of the strings have pink beads. The three strings run through her hair to the bottom and when the child pulls on the strings in her back, the strings retract through her hair and it makes an elaborate curled hairdo. Pull down on the beads and her hair straightens back out. She has her original headband and pink rose bow with green leaves that has never been removed. Her back stamp reads 1966 Mattel, Inc. China. the stamp below her hairline reads Mattel, Inc. 1998. With the bead strings fully extended, her hair measures 6" from the top of her head. She is 11.5" tall and has holes in the bottom of her feet that I presume are for some sort of stand. She also has pink earring that are painted on and blue eyes. Her molded panties have a lace design.
