Rice cooked in an earthenware pot can be cooked well without much trouble. Adjust the cooking time and steaming time to your liking, such as hard or soft. About the characteristics of this product This product is made of coarse clay containing many stones in order to bring out the rustic texture of earthenware. During the molding process, grains of stones on the surface are caught and peeled off, creating holes on the surface and giving it a unique, rugged appearance. Since each piece is handmade, there may be slight differences in the size, shape, color, texture, and weight of each piece due to the characteristics of the clay and glaze used as raw materials. There are cases where the glaze may be darker or lighter in color than the original glaze, or where small dents (pinholes) may form due to the baking of organic matter attached to the fabric. Also, the surface may be slightly blackened or have black or blue spots. This is due to iron powder (iron contained in the clay or glaze) that appears on the surface when the piece is fired.
