This listing is for an exquisite and demure ball gown, fit for Hitty's magical night of dancing and laughter with the prince of her dreams. It was created by Rosemarie Ionker / Boneka Fashions and is tagged with Rosemarie Ionker's distinctive label, a red "R" within a white square outlined in red. The gown was designed for a 6" to 6 1/2" Hitty. It is made of delicate, sheer, ecru batiste. The bodice has a deep V of ecru lace with a dainty scalloped edge. The lace travels up from the waist in front, continues over the shoulders and then down the back ending at the back waist. At the very center front of the bodice, is a smaller V of tiny pink embroidered roses with pale green leaves. The skirt of the gown is full and has 5 horizontal rows of narrow pin tucking above the hem. There is an ecru satin sash to wear at the waist and tie in a bow at the back. The sash is held in place by tiny loops at each side of the waist. The bodice buttons down the back with 3 tiny ecru buttons and 3 button loops. Beneath the dress there is an attached, lace trimmed petticoat. This dress is both beautiful and beautifully made. This wonderful dress is in excellent, like-new condition having been owned and cherished by an adult collector.
