Description: Bafo Parallel Port DB25 8 Way Auto Data Switch in IBM 5150 Style Housing *AS IS* For sale is this 8 way auto parallel port DB25 data switch. This switch is designed to connect one printer to up to 8 computers. The ‘auto’ part is where it will lock onto an incoming signal from a computer (i.e. when you print something) and then feed that to the printer. Once it has stopped there’s a wait period then it goes back to auto-sensing inputs. Basically the old way of sharing a printer over several computers. Sold AS IS. This switch is sold as is and untested, we have not tried it out but it does make for a nice novelty especially styled in a 5150-esque casing. Would make for a neat monitor stand or such. It was originally designed to be stacked under the printer you would have used for it and measures approx 36x22cm and approx 7cm high. Sold strictly AS IS. There is no power supply (required 9V) or any other acessories included it is sold strictly AS IS. Unit weighs just over 3KG on its own. As such cost of postage reflects actual costs of shipping.
