This is a Bach Stradivarius LT180S37 (37*) Bb trumpet for sale. This is the “37 light” Strad variant with the standard 37 bell, ML bore, 25 leadpipe, and a light weight valve block and body, making it a super-responsive horn with great projection. It is in good condition: silver plate about 99.5% with little wear at all—just a tiny stripe on the edge of the bell near the valves. The bell was dented at the main brace, and you can still see some residual where that was taken out, small dents on the ends of the second and third tuning slides taken out, and a few other very small dings and imperfections if you look close. As you can see in the photos, it’s a great-looking horn. Functionally, it’s excellent: all tuning slides are free including the third-valve dump slide. Valves are fast and smooth and quiet with very little wear and excellent compression. Note that this is oiled with SYNTHETIC oil and you should use the same or thoroughly clean the pistons and casings prior to switching to a standard oil. Just through our shop where it was serviced including a chem clean, detergent clean, lube, polish, and all new tuning slide O-rings, water key cork, valve felts, and stop rod bumper and nuts. Plays fantastically-- a lively, free-blowing horn compared to a standard 37. Comes in a brand-new Kaces lightweight case with backpack straps and external zippered pocket. The only lightweight 37 we’ve had for an entire year, and hard to find on the used market. Sells new for $3,649, so save almost $2,000!
