Description: Azomite Micronized Soil Amendment - 44 lb OMRI Listed - Labeled for organic use Azomite Micro Soil Amendment is internationally used as a feed additive and soil conditioner for plants to help them grow stronger and healthier. It's a natural product that contains trace minerals that is mined from an ancient mineral deposit in Utah, USA. Formulated to help boost root development, yields, and enhance plant vigor in a wide range of garden vegetables and crops to help them produce healthy plants and vibrant blooms. Also helps improve development on lawns, turfs and landscapes to help achieve greener, deeper and healthier grass. Use: Field crops, vegetables, orchards, small fruit trees, viticulture, arboriculture, home lawn and garden, nursery stock and greenhouse, landscape, turf grass Application: Must be applied by machinery that applies products like dry lime, hand applied, or mixed with compost or other similar soil treatments for application. Field Crop Recommended initial application is 75 - 150 pounds per acre, followed by an annual maintenance level of half the original application. Certain high value crops or crops that have undergone stress may warrant higher, up to double the application rate. 30 pounds per acre is suggested for use in starter fertilizers placed near the seed line. Vegetable When preparing soil, customers have reported an average of 30% improvement with AZOMITE treatment at the rate of 1/4 cup per plant. For larger areas, we recommend two 44 lb bags per acre (based on rows approximately 18" apart with plants 12" apart). If the bed is established, sprinkle around each plant. It should be applied with compost, humus, manures, or other fertilizers to provide additional levels of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. It will not burn plants.
