Description: I am offering this beautiful, authentic, vintage 1950's red party dress. Both the bodice of the dress and the tulle overskirt of the dress are embellished with lots of rows of ruffled tulle as shown. The dress is strapless and is made with a full skirt and it is fully lined with a side zipper for entering the dress. It is small having a waist that measures 12 inches from side to side ( total waist measurement is 24 inches). The bust measures 15 inches from side to side (total measurement/circumference around bust is 30 inches) and there are formed cups for additional room to accommodate the breasts. The skirt is 34 inches long measuring from the waistline to the bottom of the skirt. The dress has not been professionally cleaned and I would advise the new owner to do so, however, the dress is actually very clean and must have been well taken care of and stored well. I find no spots or stains. The dress is not perfect, however, as there is a tear in the red tulle on the bodice and two spots on the skirt where the red tulle is torn and needs to be repaired so I am selling the dress as is.
