The main body, headband, and pads are all in very good condition. All accessories are included. The EL8 model was sold under the name "Closed Back" and had an issue with a loose cable that could detach unintentionally. This led to the improved version known as the Black Closed. Although there hasn't been an official press release from the manufacturer, some buyers may unknowingly purchase the original version second-hand. Due to the aforementioned issues, the reputation of the EL8 is somewhat mixed, but I feel that its midrange and treble are attractive and it does not fall short compared to mid-range alternatives. The headphone is robust, constructed with metal from the headband through to the housing, providing a sense of ownership. The wooden side panels of the housing add a nice touch.
