Description: ASTERIX NTSC CIB - AtariAge R10 Rarity! Atari 2600 If you’re a seasoned Atari collector you know what this is. I believe that most of the known boxed copies of NTSC Asterix came out of a case that the game’s programmer, Steve Woita, was given by Atari. This copy, on the other hand, is *not* from that original box. That having been said, it’s in very good condition overall. The NTSC “N” sticker and the Atari holographic sticker are both on the top flap. The bottom of the box has some scotch tape on it. I very carefully cut the scotch tape so that I could document the printer’s marks on the small flaps inside the bottom of the box (see photos). The tape may be removable but I didn’t want to chance it. There’s a small crease/indentation on the front and back of the box that comes from the lower left (lower right on the back) corner. It’s not too bad. The top flap where the tab inserts to close the box is not intact. The cartridge and manual are in excellent condition. The labels are really clean — there’s a tiny little nick on the lower right corner of the main label, and the end label has a typical crease that runs horizontally along its center. Possibly it was there all along from the factory application. The game is tested and working. It’s NTSC format. The Asterix splash screen shows in green as expected for the NTSC version of the game. I’ve included a video showing this. Please inspect the photos carefully as they show the item’s condition better than I can describe it, though I did my best with the description. Let me know if you have any questions or would like to see additional photos. I will ship this extremely well protected: in a box protector, and in a sturdy box, not in a padded envelope. Priority Mail USPS only for this auction. Signature confirmation and insurance will be added by me. Returns are accepted if the item is in identical condition to what is pictured in the listing. Buyer pays shipping on a return. Reasonable offers will be considered. Given what the last one of these sold for, this may get scooped up right away, or it may last a while. I guess we’ll see. Thanks for checking out the listing!
