Details of the 1865 trial of David Herold, Mary Surratt, Lewis Payne, George Atzerodt, Edward Spangler, Samuel Mudd, Samual Arnold and Michael O'Laughlin Cover and spine are rich blue color tooled faux leather with 22K gold gilt. Spine has 3 raised bars. Has 22k gold gilting on all three sides or page edges. The end pages or frontspiece have a Moire silk design. The NOTABLE TRIALS LIBRARY is a special edition from Gryphon Edition, Birmingham AL, a subscription series directed to atorneys and those interested in the LAW. These books have become very collectible. The quality is excellent and beautiful! Wonderful addition to any library. This book is in excellent, UNUSED condition. The gold gilting is intact on all three sides. There are no marks, tears or folds on any pages. Binding is tight and clean. Has a completed bookplate on inside front cover .
