Description: Hello and welcome to The Textile Trunk ~ please follow us on Instagram we are @textiletrunk A wonderful , medium weight cotton from France, c 1890 ~ this is a medium weight cotton with a wonderful arts and crafts pattern, also inspired by the embroidered look of the time~ the ground tone is a beige tone and the other colors include : faded tomato red, neutrals This is a large piece and was once perhaps a slip cover ? Its seamed and there is a gathered area at the top. There are some super charming hand darns on this textile, could be a wonderful feature for an antique pillow or upholstered project. ~ ~ ( E 1192 ) MEASUREMENTS: 37 inches long by 91 inches wide ~ CONDITION: This textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition with storage dust. It can be machine washed on gentle and hung to dry! ~ there are some charming hand mends on this piece ~ There are some pale stains and there are some small holes, visible when held to the light ~ ideal for many sewing projects where the flaws can be featured or cut around! ~*~ Ideal for anyone that doesnt mind the signs of time, love and use often inherent in these wonderful textiles ~*~ ( condition taken account in the price) 05/05/20
